Please help us recycle! We know - you are saying I
want to help conserve, but what does my recycling a
couple of cartridges a year do to save the environment?
The answer is - it does a lot!
Did you know that:
On average three quarts of oil are burned to make one
new cartridge.
An estimated 375,000,000 cartridges are thrown away
every year.
Every cartridge thrown away turns into 2 quarts of oil
in our landfills.
It takes about 1000 years for every one of those millions
of cartridges to decompose in our landfills.
Wow!
Those are some startling numbers and by joining our
recycling program today, you can help to slow this destructive
cycle.
It sounds good to conserve, but it's a lot easier to
just throw it in the trash can. Why bother to send it
back?
Because we care so much about this issue, we made our
recycling program beneficial to both you and the environment.
That's right, beneficial to you!
How is it beneficial to me?
First, our recycling program is free to join and we
pay for all the collection costs.
Second, you will be rewarded with either cash or credit
toward your next purchase for every empty cartridge
your return to us.
And while you may think your contribution seems minimal,
every cartridge helps!
Remember the Chinese proverb, a journey of a thousand
miles begins with a single step, please help us start
on the journey toward cleaning up our planet.
How does it work?
Start collecting your empty inkjet cartridges. Then
ask all your friends and colleagues to stop throwing
away all their empty inkjet cartridges. Find an empty
cardboard box and simply save each empty cartridge as
they are replaced.
Pack your empties. Carefully pack your cartridges to
avoid damage during transit. We recommend each cartridge
should be individually wrapped, using a newspaper.
Include your contact information. Please include the
following details with your empties:
your name
your full address
telephone number
email address
a list of the empties being shipped to us (please include
the quantity of each type of cartridge)
How do I return empties? Simply email us at empties@MyInkCartridge.com
or call us at (800) 374-8990 and we will provide you
with a shipping label. We will then arrange for a carrier
to call and pick-up the cartridges from you. Remember,
you don't have to pay for the shipping, we pick up the
tab.
Your reward. After we receive your return, please allow
us about 7 business days to process your return and
send you your payment, or credit voucher.
It is as easy as that.
